Mariposa Group is a diversified property investor and developer, active across multiple real estate sectors. We identify value through a combination of market intelligence and development expertise, assessing each opportunity for redevelopment, repositioning or upgrading from both a micro and macro perspective.
We devise asset and development strategies that generate value across the full investment lifecycle, from opportunity identification and asset creation, through capital management and phased planning, to performance optimisation and exit. Our understanding of the markets in which we operate informs every stage of that process.
Our objective is to create lasting value for our investors, while contributing to the economies and communities in which our assets are located. We take a long-term view of the role our projects play beyond the transaction itself.

We combine market intelligence with development expertise to identify potential investment opportunities for redevelopment, repositioning or upgrading. Each opportunity is assessed from both a micro and macro perspective: the specific attributes of the property, local market supply and demand, and the broader economic environment, including interest rates, inflation and capital flows.
Our in-depth knowledge of the markets in which we operate, combined with detailed research and expertise in value engineering, allows us to identify assets whose quality is not yet fully recognised by the broader market.

Andrew Lau
Partner
Andrew has over 18 years' experience in property, having held senior management positions with major Australian and international property companies. He oversees Mariposa's overall strategic investment direction. Prior to founding Mariposa, Andrew led the origination, design competition and development approval phase for one of the largest mixed-use sites in the Sydney CBD, with a project end value in excess of A$3 billion. He has also held senior management roles in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, delivering office, retail, residential and hospitality projects, and has managed portfolios in excess of A$4 billion across the Australian, New Zealand, Singaporean, UK and Swiss markets.
