mariposa offers both solid timber flooring and engineered flooring to suit every application and budget. Our precision milling process produces tongue and groove boards that fit perfectly on all 4 sides.

Solid flooring

Choose mariposa's solid timber flooring for unsurpassed luxury. Our solid flooring is precision-milled from hardwood timber which is graded 'select' or better.

Engineered flooring

Specify mariposa's engineered flooring to manage costs without sacrificing performance or finish. We use a 12 layer plywood technology rather than the typical 3 layer backing, to provide increased stability and durability.

finishing

mariposa offers you the choice of a high performance UV lacquer or a matt oil finish. Our timber flooring is supplied pre-finished for ease and speed of installation.

UV lacquer

The timber is finished in a 20 step process, which includes 8 coats of lacquer. Every second coat, including the final top coat, is dried with UV lamps for maximum durability and lasting shine.

Matt oil

To achieve a subtle matt effect that showcases the natural beauty of timber, mariposa offers a range of oiled finishes - both clear and stained. Seven stained colours are available including Cafe, Latte, Macchiato, Babychino, Espresso and Wenge.

The oiled finish offers same high degree of wearability as the UV lacquer.
