After installation and then on a regular basis, vacuum or dust-mop your floor to remove any dirt or debris. Then clean the floor with an approved cleaner such as "L94 Cleaner".

Twice a year, apply "L93 Everclear" with a damp mop to protect and maintain the finish. There is no need to wax your mariposa floor.

Make sure you avoid:

• using excess water on your floor
• tracking sand or dirt across the floor
• spike or stiletto heels
• all wood polish products
• all solvent-based dressings or maintenance products

Protect your floor with mats in doorways and in front of kitchen sinks, and place protectors on all furniture legs.

Scuff marks and scratches on matt oil can be treated with a re-application of the oil finish to the affected area.
